AW Plant Services was founded in 1982. Since then, it has been providing crane hire services from Great Yarmouth, East Anglia, for the past 30 years. Since August 1989, the company has been based in Eurocentre, where it has large premises for storage and operation of its crane fleet. It also has the facilities of its sister Haulage company Associated Master Porters and Stevedores. S).

AW Plant Services is a family-owned business that employs five family members. It has also enjoyed the long-term support of many of its other employees. Over the last 30 year, the company has been working in various industrial sectors, including Construction, Engineering, Transportation, and Offshore Supply. The majority of the company's work today is for offshore industries, including lifting operations for the oil-and gas, renewable energy, decommissioning and decomissioning sector.
