Find out more about our peopleCraib began as two independent businesses but in the 70s George Craib and Aberdeen Road Runners Ltd merged to become ARR Craib. Covering the North East of Scotland, they provided haulage and courier services to the paper and oil & gas industries.
In 2008 George Craib retired which prompted a Management Buy Out (MBO). One year later the business joined the Palletline network bringing a new avenue of work to the company.
2018 saw Craib become part of Gregory Group. With a £50 million turnover and 275 vehicles, this was a significant acquisition and one that further strengthened both brands.
In 2018 ARR Craib was acquired by Gregory Group - a logistics business which originated in the South West of England. Craib is now one of three Scottish business which is part of Gregory Group and we each maintain our recognisable brand colours.
Combined, we are able to provide logistics services to business all over the UK - from the Highlands of Scotland to the tip of Cornwall.
You could always expect a high quality logistics solution from Craib, but today, by joining forces with other powerhouses in this industry, we now have greater scale. We can accommodate your fluctuations in demand and have fleet and people to call upon whenever needed.
While service and performance are what we measure, it’s important not to undervalue the people. Service is bound together by people. We’re always looking at what the optimum network is and how we can improve the cost to serve, and we collaborate tightly on this. It’s a real partnership.
